I've always loved flowers, but the opportunity to do a still life shoot gave me a reason to delve more into the photography of them. I had two different sets of really fresh flowers so I took advantage of that. I used a lot of literature and sheet music in my still life photos, mainly because those are two of the major aspects of my life. I love reading, and I absolutely love music and piano as well. I constantly drink tea and coffee, and I am always burning a candle in my room or where I'm working. I used my still life shoot to bring out more of my personality and show who I am, by the objects that I had sitting around.
Great to see you the other day...think you said I will see you Tues. - great! I will give you more feedback re: these images ASAP...and look out for 2 new assignments. You did a good job catching up re: images and critique sheet after your injury, but you did not complete written critique of any photographers for either "still life" or "landscape/environmental portraits", so just a reminder to read all assignments and the details of what to post very carefully...thanks!
